Omnicom Media Group
During my time as the Head of Marketing & PR at Resolution agency (a part of Omnicom Media Group), it was important for me as the responsible for our visibility and awareness, to get our newly started agency visible in the right places at the right times. Therefore, there was no doubt that we chose to appear at Media Mecca in Gothenburg.
Though, the difference that year compared to others, was that we chose to not spend a big budget on standing out with our booth. Instead, I took advantage of the war in Ukraine to actually make a difference and support our partners - Red Cross. Therefore, I decided that we would raise money through a QR code that visitors could scan, and then decided to partner with Google which doubled the total amount that had been donated during the evening.
Our stand was not only the buzz for the evening, but caused one or two competitors to question their stand...
