WORTH PARTNERSHIP PROJECT

During the pandemic, one of my best friends gave birth to one of Sweden's most premature babies, and she had a hard time bonding with her daughter. Premature babies usually don't look like other babies and have both extremely sensitive skin, but also have to lie in incubators to keep warm.

I saw a big gap in the market where it was not possible to find clothes in a size smaller than 50, and the few clothes that could be special ordered, all had rough seams that could rub or make an impint on the baby's sensitive skin.

This led me to contact a designer who, together with me, sketched out a unique garment made entirely of natural fabrics, without seams and with strategically placed holes and built-in pockets where tubes and other hospital equipment could easily remain even though the child was dressed to keep the heat outside the incubator.

This innovation led me to win one of Europe's biggest scholarships as I traveled to Spain to receive my award.

I then exhibited the product both at Milan Design Week and Dutch Design Week, where many media outlets drew attention to the product!
