COLART INTERNATIONAL
As the Nordic Marketing Executive at world-leading art company COLART, I was challenged to create a creative campaign for one of our largest retailers, Panduro Hobby, to boost sales of our global and storied Winsor & Newton brand. They launched the new ProMarker Pen, which was a revolutionary product that faced tough competition in the physical stores.
It was 2019 and online shopping wasn't as popular and proven, but to win you have to risk, so I decided to turn our Stockholm headquarters into an artist's studio, hired a professional camera crew and took over Panduro Hobby's social channels while honing my journalism skills.
I then invited a relevant and popular artist to collaborate, where we broadcast live for an hour as she painted famous profiles with ProMarker Pro Pens and gave her top tips to viewers. This was broadcast on all Panduro's digital channels where I also had an ipad next to me showing people's comments and questions that I could ask her, while she gave her best tips and advice on how to use the pens and at the same time answered the comments live.
During the campaign period, I also designed in-store POS materials (such as signs, stands, flyers and packaging) and created digital adverts to promote the event alongside the pens. This resulted in increased sales and brand awareness, and prompted Panduro to continue working with live broadcasts in the future.
